CANTUS PLANUS is a Study Group of the International Musicological Society.

The object of the Study Group is the advancement of research in the fields related to the history and practice of liturgical chant as branches of learning and scholarship. In pursuing this objective, CANTUS PLANUS  encourages international cooperation and seeks to facilitate relations between researchers and musicological projects in all countries.
